Acceleration — The Gas Pedal
Step 3 of the 7 Natural Born Running standards
The forward lean is the gas pedal. Most kids brake when they should be pressing down. When the lean is right, gravity does half the work — and speed becomes automatic.

Push Off — The Rev Counter
Step 5 of the 7 Natural Born Running standards
Push off is raw power — the force generated from the ground through every stride. Most kids shuffle instead of drive. When push off is right, the rev counter climbs and speed stops being a ceiling.

Arms — The Ignition

Your arms start your legs. Most kids don't know that. When the arm drive is locked or crossing the body, the legs follow — inefficiently. Fix the arms and everything below fires in sync.
